BUSINESS EXPERIENCE
All of my career has involved communication in all its various spoken forms.
My background includes work at BBC, first as a studio manager in radio for both World Service and at Broadcasting House. Then I went the other side of the microphone as a contributor to Radio 4 programmes and a continuity announcer and newsreader for the World Service. This was followed by contracts with Local radio as a presenter/producer. My entry into the training world came via the Police when I was asked to set up radio training at Bramshill Police College. Whilst there I also covered TV and interview techniques and aspects of dealing with the Press. I was then invited to join Purchasepoint Group as Head of Presentation and Media Training. This involved Conferences, Product Launches, Corporate programmes and various specialist training such as working with Chairmen/CEO’s on their keynote speeches. Whilst doing this I was also giving presentations and delivering conference speeches myself.
TRAINING AND CONSULTANCY EXPERIENCE
After Purchasepoint I returned to the world of a freelancer specialising in Presentation and Media training. I worked, and still do, with various blue chip companies as a consultant/advisor such as.Panasonic, Lloyds Bank, BAA,Deloitte Consulting, Southern Water, ROK.
This is work that I enjoy and it has taken me all over the UK and overseas. I travelled through Australia and New Zealand delivering seminars on Presentation Skills to audiences of 150. I have hosted conferences, run conference rehearsals, prepared top management to appear on radio and television and devised and presented skills courses [open and in-house]
My experience of many businesses and ability to communicate with people at all levels makes me an adaptable and effective trainer.

I am a trained actress and singer and I worked in both theatre and television alongside my other broadcast work. This background adds a vital ingredient to my skills and helps to make me a more powerful and persuasive trainer.
I am on the examining board of London College of Music & Media as a speech and drama examiner and examine all levels of communication skills from grades to diplomas.
