“I’m taking the lead on organisational analysis for Corramba. Why me? Well, if you had someone who had an unending curiosity, then you’d put them into situations where a story was waiting to be discovered. Before I set up my first company mtc2, I was often employed as a trouble shooter to tell that sector’s particular story and help write the best ending possible.
I’ve continued that ever since, analysing organisations that employ 5 to 500+. Telling their stories and finding out what they do well and not quite so well. And out of that comes other work such as strategic visioning and executive mentoring. I’ve dealt with a diverse range of people in the private, public, voluntary and charitable sectors. Commissions have included CYP Ltd, Searchlight, the Audit Commission, IDeA, SE Employers, the Leadership Centre and many others.
All of this expertise is backed up of course by a strong academic background and practical application, which gives me a range and breadth of understanding that I bring to any commission. I keep up to date with the latest management and behavioural thinking through my membership of the Chartered Management Institute, the Association of Business Psychologists and Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
Now, I come across an all too frequent issue of how modern organisations deal with their customers. Some are better at it than others but they all could be improved. It seems a natural extension therefore to be a founder of a specialist consultancy which could deal with this.
So, if you’re interested in your 21st century story, then come to laura@corramba and let us help you tell it.”
